Poppystamps Plaid is Rad Challenge

If Kisses were Snowflakes

Enjoy playing with wintery border dies.  This one is Frostyville. I used the same concept I developed for the Get Cozy Wintery card and applied it here.  Used various Memory Box snowflake dies, inlaid the snowflake on the upper right to give it added dimension.  The plaid paper is from Authentique's Wintery collection.  I randomly added Nuvo crystal drops to a few of the snowflakes for embellishment.

Supplies used:
Memory Box Frostyville Border die
Memory Box Twinkling Snowflake duet die
Authentique Wintery One, sentiment from Wintery Details
Recollections silver card stock
Papercut Eames Provincetown "Canvas" paper
Nuvo Crystal Drops - Neptune
Nuvo Glitter Drops - Moondust

Serendipity Stamps November Blog Challenge

Chickadee Christmas Shaker

The challenge was to add texture.  I added Pentart's Snow Paste on the top of pine branches and one of the pine cones. I then added fine glitter to the Snow Paste before it dried.  I love the Chickadee image and want to show case it inside a shaker.  For a bit of sparkle and texture, I used clear sequins, Disco white glitter, clear glass beads, Queen & Co's white sugar and Stampendous' Shaved Ice inside the shaker.  Accented the main front panel with gold and silver rainbow tape. The word Peace is stacked with Peppermint on top and Old Olive under.

Supplies used:
Serendipity Stamps - Chickadees stamp Code: 682E
Serendipity Stamps - Peace, Hope, Punctuation Dies Code: 030E
Rainbow Metallic Tape - Gold 1/16", Silver 1/32"
Papers - Neenah Cream, Authentique Classic Christmas Collection "Classic Seven", Bazzill Peppermint, Stampin Up Old Olive
Copic Sketch Markers
May Arts ribbons

IO Stamps Challenge - Give Thanks

For the IO Stamps challenge that will end in an hour or less, I made this fall themed card using the new Give Thanks sentiment die and 2 sets of IO's leave die sets. I die cut a circle as the base, glued it to the Butter Mints card stock and applied adhesive tape on top of the circle.  I died cut sets of leaves using the Echo Park Fall is in the Air solid card stock and layered them onto the circle base; glued only the base of the leaves to allow movement of the leaves.  Added IO's small apples and a twine bow as embellishments.

Supplies used:
IO stamps Bushel of Apples DIE204-B
IO stamps Small Leaf Set DIE095-D
IO stamps Leaf Set DIE030-S
Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangle Frames
Bazzill Buttermints Card Stock
Echo Park Fall is in the Air paper Blue/Yellow, Orange/Green, Red/Brown, Sweater Weather (plaid)

Get Cozy Wintery Card

First holiday card this year, made using border and snow flake dies, and Authentique's new Wintery paper collection.  Although I am all about the colors, love this grey slivery monochromatic look.  Easy simple card to make. I flat taped the border die layer onto metallic card stock, then foam taped onto Wintery Five paper. I die cut the sentiment from Wintery Six and inked the edges with silver cat's eye, then foam taped onto the border/metallic layer.  Added snow flake diecuts and gave it a little sparkle with Nuvo drops.

Supplies:
Impression Obsession Small Snowflake die set
Poppy Stamps Wintergreen Border die
Nellie's Multi Frames - Oval
Authentique Wintery Five and Six papers
Bazzill metallic platinum paper
Papercut Eames Provincetown "Canvas" paper
Nuvo Crystal Drops - Silver Moondust
Color Box Silver pigment Cat's Eye
May Arts ribbon
