Impression Obsession Challenge - Furry Friends

I used Phthalo Blue Tint pan pastel to create the clouds background; die-cut the bunnies on white felt paper to make it extra "furry".  I also added a little pink chalk onto the bunnies' tails and ears.  Carrots, bunnies, grass border and frame were die-cut using IO dies.  I added the frame onto the cloud background, then layered the carrots starting at the top of the frame with ultimate glue and foam tape. The grass was glued flat onto the cloud background at the bottom of the frame. I then tucked 2 bunnies in the grass. For the card base, I used heavy white card stock onto which I flat-taped Doodlebug's Spring Garden "Sweet Talk" paper, leaving about an eighth inch white border on the top and bottom.  I then foam taped the cloud background with bunnies, carrots and frame onto the card base.  I added a bunny to the right side of the frame leaping towards the carrots in the sky, and a bunny on the lower left corner who may not be sure if the carrots are for real....  I finished with a small triple bow adhered with ultimate glue on the lower right.
For the inside of the card, I used a stamp from IO's Real Life Sentiments set. The bunny inside was colored with a touch of apricot pastel chalk to provide a little contrast from the white paper.  Had so much fun creating this bit of furry bunny whimsy!

I used Serendipity's Japanese Tea stamp set, masked the teapots and stamped with alternating colors to create the background.  Following the Asian theme, I wrote the Chinese and Japanese character for tea using the brush end of Memento Tuxedo Black marker. Then I diecut and embossed the frame using the largest die from Spellbinder's Tile Works set. Finished card by popping the teapots and the character for tea.

Hummingbird Cards

Papers from the Bo Bunny Butterfly Kisses collection, available at Impressive Ideas.

This collection of papers are lovely and versatile. It also begs to be fussy cut!  The hummingbirds, larger jars, and butterfly on the lower left corner of the card on the right were all fussy cut. I edged all the papers, birds, jars and butterfly with Color Box Gray Whale Cat's Eye ink pad. I used silicone glue to give the jars and birds additional dimension.  Added glossy accents on the butterfly and Clear Wink of Stella on the birds for a subtle shimmer.
