Had a few Penny Black brushstroke stamps but didn't really spend much time playing with them. Recently with the new "Poetic" release, I can't seem to get enough of them. This one is the Dancing Daisies. Stamped and watercolored with distress inks, dye based markers, and watercolor pencils (for highlights). I prefer to use watercolor brushes that require wetting in water instead of the brushes that have built in water tubes. I find it's easier for me to control the amount of water. After painting the the flowers, I added the background with an ink blending tool and Distress Antique Linen. For added interest, I added splatters of Cocoa ink. I also inked the edges of the painted panel with Creamy Brown Cat's Eye chalk ink.
